Jako Hardware - Doral

I’m nearing completion of a full home renovation, and although the project isn’t entirely finished, the hardware has just been installed and I couldn’t be happier with the decision to work with Jako Hardware.

We opted for an oversized front door with a pivot system rather than a traditional swing, and my contractor recommended a few suppliers to explore. I was shopping from overseas at the time and had to rely heavily on online research. Jako stood out immediately. Their website was, clean, well designed, detailed, and made it easy to visualize how the hardware would complement the space.

What began as sourcing a pivot system quickly turned into a broader design upgrade. After seeing their pocket door hardware and other architectural pieces, I actually had my contractor revise part of the plan to incorporate additional elements such as closet systems and pocket doors. The design, finish quality, and engineering are on another level. I went with Titanium Chocolate, but the other finishes were amazing, especially the copper.

Before this project, I underestimated how much impact luxury high-end hardware can have. It truly is the jewelry of a home; subtle but transformative. The door pulls, hinges, and kitchen and bath hardware don’t just function beautifully, they elevate the entire aesthetic and attract the eyes.
