Kevin Taylor at Hank’s Furniture in Destin was a joy to work with. I was buying furniture for a bedroom and he was helpful, had great ideas, and was very very patient. ( I kept changing my mind!). What we ended up with is beautiful. I am so pleased and will ask for Kevin every time I go back to Hank’s in Destin.

I highly recommend working with Grant on your next furniture purchase. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and gave me space to shop while being available to answer my questions. He helped me make decisions with my new living room set along with color choices. He also assisted with a custom order directly from the vendor. I’ll definitely go back to him for future purchases. Excited to get my delivery. Thanks for all your help, Grant!
UPDATE 10/23/2025:
Everything went down hill starting with delivery. They use a third party delivery company, Call Your Neighbor Moving and Delivery, LLC. The store tells you the day but can’t give you a time frame. The movers text you 2 hours before arrival so be prepared to take the entire day off of work.
Upon delivery (10/22/25) of of my $8k living room pieces the underneath portion of the chair was tore, the legs on every single piece were chipped/scratched, and when the guys went to flip the couch over they completely snapped the back leg off the couch. They quickly grabbed a drill and started to try to fix it.
Seeing damages in 8k worth of furniture is very disappointing and upsetting. Watching a delivery person try to fix it sent me over the top. I do not want repaired furniture. For 8k my furniture should be brand new and damage free.
All items were refused and I was promised by Grant that a brand new (not fixed) set would be delivered next Wednesday, 10/29/2025.
IF they make right by this I will update my review but as of right now I’m very concerned / stressed out about the outcome of this situation. Even more so after reading what was posted on the BBB. I really wish I did my homework with the BBB before making such a large investment with this company. Thinking I should just completely cancel at this point.

Hanks in Destin has a great selection and very reasonable prices. John Henry helped us with our bedroom furniture selection. He has great taste, and was very helpful. His wonderful personality makes him fun to shop with. Our furniture was delivered on Saturday by Geo and Carter. Very heavy furniture that was delivered to the 3rd floor ( no elevator ) in perfect condition. We will be repeat customers! Thank you.
We walked into Hank’s not knowing where to start until we met John Henry. He greeted us warmly and immediately had great ideas. I told him I wanted something modern, green, and sleek, and he delivered perfectly. He even helped us pick out a few decorations that ended up costing us less than $20 compared to what we would have spent at HomeGoods! John Henry, thank you so much for your time and creativity. We’ll definitely be back!
