I unfortunately had one a very unprofessional experience with this company that really was a shame. Specifically because of Nathan - who has alot to learn about customer service , is very young & talks down to customers in an arrogant entitled manner. He really needs a good training on how to handle customers for his family business - as they lost this one.

I do not recommend this company because of my poor experiences and should have listenend to the other reviews here that also mentioned there experience with nathan.

I ordered sod on 3 separate occasions & also trees - all in advance - all requesting a specific time because of elderly parents, kids and work. I was told the deliveries would be when i requested them but i was fooled every single time. Each delivery was late by 3 hours - 6 hours.

When the delivery doesnt show up - Nathan does not answer the phone so you have to call the main office. Then nobody can reach the drivers or do anything until they talk to nathan .

After a while of waiting- the excuses come in where your delivery is somewhere else, there an issue with the equipment , issue with traffic where your order doesnt arrive after they promised it would.

When nathan does pop back up after not returning calls - he boldly talks down to customers with lots of attitude- This is not appreciated after spending lots of money.

On the last order he threatened for the order to not arrive and cancel it. So after that nice remark - i asked for a refund it since he wants to cancel my order for me - where he then hangs up - says he is not refunding it as i cant reach the driver - then send me dead grass 90min later. The grass would break apart when slighly touching it. Dry and in bad shape.

To which i returned the order back to the drive and again - had to call the main number - and asked for my refund from someone else at the company.

Last in terms of quality - for orders other than grass. Do not buy palm trees from them. I asked for 4 matching trees of the same size. I was reassured this would happen.

They gave me two sets that did not match - They did not match in size or in color.

Worst of all 2 of them had major issues struggling to live from day one - Those trees are two foot smaller than the other 2 trees. I was supposed to get 5ft of trunk trees, this is what i paid for and i got 2 of the trees that are 4ft. Giving me less than what i paid for.

For palm trees you pay by the foot of trunk. When confronted- i was told to water them, color the trunks on my own and have my gardner help.

Overall one of the worst expeirences of my life. RUN - dont walk away from nathan & his lovely customer service.

I ORDERED 2 PALLETS WERE DELIVERED WITHIN 45 MINUTES RUN DON’T WALK !!!

GVI Garden center have been great. I make multiple orders and they deliver next day. Deliveries are prompt, drivers are friendly and go out of their way to place palettes where it is convenient. Sod is good quality and they follow up to see if it was to my satisfaction.
Highly recommend this company.

I found GVI on Facebook marketplace and to be honest was a little hesitant because it was a really good price and I had no idea about the company. I contacted them through Facebook messenger and got an immediate response and then I started communicating by text afterwards with a gentleman named Nathan.
I told Nathan what I was looking for, asked for a price. I was given an extremely fair price and a fair delivery fee and was told that they were loading up a truck and heading north at that moment and I could have them in a couple hours, it was amazing. They delivered them in the time window that I gave them when my husband would be at the house and he said the grass “Saint Augustine” was absolutely beautiful. They put them exactly where I wanted them. I cannot be happier. What a great company so easy to deal with and so professional. They get five stars from me!

This Company Is a scam Don't do business with them Very unprofessional rude Nathan lied several times about deliver placed sod order weeks prior I took time off work on day of delivery they ghost me finally reach them and they advised it will have to be later that day they then advise me it will be the next morning I reluctantly took another day off work and SOD never came morning off they said it will be 12pm at 12:45 they call me and advise it will have to be another day. THEY ARE DISHONEST RUDE AND UNPROFFESSIONAL
