Elite Hurricane Protection

From first phone inquiry to post installation this was absolutely a professional and satisfying experience. Elite gave us a no hassle, zero sales pressure quotation, they demonstrated their products, had plenty of choices, provided suggestions and were 100% professional through out the entire experience. Once we placed our order; Elite came out for final measurements before production and before installation. It was ready for install in approximately four weeks. Once our install date was scheduled, they completed the work in two days including electrical. They had a follow up post installation, tested and gave instructions on the remote roll-down and completed all finish work. The entire team from sales, customer service and installation technicians were prompt, polite and professional. The Installation Techs cleaned up and disposed of all trash, patched all of the prior shutter fastener holes and discarded the prior shutters. We are very pleased with the work accomplished by Wes at Elite Hurricane Home Protection. We had 3 bedroom windows done, 1 tall small window done, had our Lanai entry door done as well as our Lanai itself. Everything looks and works great! What used to take 2 days to do now only takes about 10 minutes and we feel vey secure! During the project the owner - Chris came by to lend Wes a hand and to answer any questions we had. This is a great investment and worth every penny!!! We used to hide in the closet in the bedroom when Ian, Helene, and Milton struck but now we can feel safe in the living room! Elite Hurricane Home Protection provided excellent service from start to finish! I’ve been scheduled to have my shutters installed for some time and fortunately for me they went up just before Milton. The installers were even nice enough to help my neighbor close her shutters when she was having a hard time getting them to latch. For 25 years I have used steel panel shutters to cover my windows and to enclose the lanai for hurricanes. I have been putting them up for the more severe ones, but Hurricane Ian convinced me I needed to change. (The house managed to survive 150mph winds in the eye wall for 10 straight hours). Now, THAT was an experience.

What used to take me 3 hours (putting up all the shutters) took all day, in the rain (I’m no spring chicken anymore and those panels get heavier every year). So I shopped around and read reviews on roll-down shutters. I visited the local Home Show and while I was standing in the aisle in front of the Elite booth, two guys came up behind me and one said “If you are thinking about hurricane protection, you can’t beat them.” The other guy said “Yeah, when I saw his, I had them do mine.” Well, that was my convincer. I needed roll-down shutters to enclose my lanai. With all the positive reviews and that personal endorsement at the Home Show, I opted to go with Elite. After Ian’s destruction, I value quality and reliability.

Well, the shutters were installed just in time for a busy hurricane season. I have since survived the ravages of Helene and Milton on Florida’s West Coast with no damage. The positive reviews were accurate and I am pleased. Everyone with the company was punctual, professional and courteous. Everything associated with the job was done on schedule and efficiently. When they were done they didn’t just pick up, they vacuumed up my lanai and wiped all smudges from the shutters – nice touch. The shutters look great and feel very solid – They have proven they can stand up to a Cat 3 hurricane (and I suspect Cat 5 will also be good). The best part is that I can now enclose my lanai from ‘any’ bad weather or just for security in less than a minute by pushing buttons. Gotta Love It !!!!

As with all major projects, there was a minor glitch, but Elite handled it efficiently and professionally, with no inconvenience to me. Elite looked out for me every step of the way and did a professional job. My positive experience warrants my highest recommendation.
