Both times we’ve brought our RV to Don Hillman, it was in a time-sensitive situation with our generator not working right before a trip. The entire staff has been nothing but friendly and welcoming, which immediately helps in a stressful situation. We’ve had Charles work on our RV both times, and he has been outstanding. He was able to quickly diagnose the issues, explain what was going on, and get everything repaired in a timely manner. Thanks to his skill and efficiency, our trips weren’t delayed or ruined. We’re very grateful to have a place we can count on for honest, reliable, and fast service when we need it most. Highly recommend!

I purchased a home that required an extensive renovation. My son works with a top caliber custom home builder and is very familiar with a broad spectrum of South Florida construction trades. I wanted to add a generator and without hesitation, he recommended Don Hillman. Kyle, in sales, visited my home, discussed various generator options for our consideration, clearly explained the installation process, gave a realistic timeline, and provided a competitive bid. I proceeded to engage Hillman and the experience was seamless.

Power recently went out in my community and the generator turned on, as programmed. It was late in the afternoon and the first time the home went on generator power. I reached out to the company with a few questions regarding the process of how the home transitions off the generator when power returns to the home. Ed, the owner, took my call and patiently explained the process and answered my questions. He assured me that if there were any issues after the office closed, I could contact their after hour service and one of the owners would assist. In summary, good product, good service, and good management are a winning combination and I comfortably refer Hillman without hesitation.

Kyle is an amazing project manager. He expertly assisted us through a complicated permitting and inspection project and brought our project in on time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Don Hillman Inc., is the best. They diagnosed my generator’s problem when others (even Cummins) failed. They patiently waited for hours for my generator to shut down. Then when they were about to close my generator finally malfunctioned. Instead of telling me to come back, the technician installed a much-needed motherboard solving my issue once and for all.

They were very fair with their pricing. Another place would have charged me out the you-know-what!

Dee Dee was fantastic; she went above and beyond the call of duty by helping me file a claim with my warranty company despite Don Hillman not being able to honor it. She made phone calls and walked me through the process step by step to get reimbursed.

I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs to have their generator serviced. Why can’t more companies be like them? Professional, competent, fair and friendly. Thank you so much!!!
