I visited City Furniture yesterday for the first time to buy a bed for my new wabi-sabi inspired Tulum-style space. I was blown away by the quality and design. Kevin, who has over 20 years of experience, was so knowledgeable and attentive. The bed I chose, with its dark wood and rope headboard, is absolutely stunning and perfectly matches my aesthetic. I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I went to the store 3 times because we were unsure of what we wanted and Ahmed took care of us every time with such patience and grace. He is super knowledgeable about design and extremely friendly. We are so happy with our experience and we will definitely be back for more things.

I was greeted at the door very pleasantly. Ivan Prieto ask what can I help you with. I said I'm looking for a bed only. And he told me The different styles of beds in different departments. He trailed me at a nice distance without pressure answer the questions that I wanted answered. Very helpful individual I commend Ivan. And I walked out of there with exactly what I needed. Thank you city furniture.

We went to the Tamarac store, and while the salesperson was nice, we felt rushed into buying a coffee table and chandelier. The items were delivered on Wednesday, but we only had time to open the boxes today. As soon as we did, we realized both pieces were far too large for our living room.
I called customer service right away, even sent photos to show how disproportionate everything looked. Their response? I could exchange the items but only if I paid a 15% restocking fee on a $1,600 purchase. They said it had been more than 24 hours since delivery, so that was their policy.
To make things worse, the day after our purchase, both items went 15% off in a flash sale, and City Furniture refused to honor the new price.
We’ve bought several pieces from City Furniture over the years, including our couch, and never had to return anything. But after this experience , the lack of flexibility, poor customer service, and unwillingness to work with loyal customers… they’ve lost us for good.
Now I understand why the salesperson seemed in such a hurry to close the sale,
I am sure he knew how strict and unfair the return policy is.
Beware of their return policies and don’t let anyone rush you into a purchase.
Then we receive a reply saying you want to make things right but unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. All that happened was someone called me to repeat the same explanations and excuses I received before posting my review. I’m still being told I have to pay a 15% restocking fee, even though all I want is to exchange the items for something of equal value that actually fits my space and décor.
It’s really disappointing, and you’ve lost me as a customer. Out of principle, I won’t be purchasing from your store again. I truly expected better service and accountability.

I had a great experience at City Furniture, thanks to Jorge. He was incredibly patient while I was trying to decide on my furniture — I was in the store for over two hours, and he never rushed me once. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything and answered all of my questions in detail, which I really appreciated.

So far, the entire process has been smooth. I’m still waiting on the delivery, so I can’t speak to that yet, but up to this point everything has been excellent. Everyone in the store was also very helpful and pleasant, which made the experience even better.
