Our 20-year-old whole-house generator died in July and we needed to replace it. We called Casey Electric as they had provided us with great service in the past. Their salesman, Thomas Mason, came to our house to discuss our needs, which included removing the old generator. He gave us a proposal for a 16kw Generac generator that would satisfy all our requirements, which we accepted.
The installers were very professional and polite. They removed to old generator including the wiring and gas lines as they did not meet the current codes. Installing the new gas and electric lines required a lot of digging, but when they were finished the installation looked great. Candace Kellen in the Casey office said we could pay in 2 or 3 installments.
All in all, this was a great experience and we highly recommend Casey Electric.

See all on Google ↗We spoke with several dealers about home generators. Only Casey Electric gave us the truth about the different makes available. We caught another well-known regional company in an outright lie, making Casey Electric our go-to for our generator install. Though they were backlogged on installs, we were given a time frame up front, which they met. The install went smoothly, and the techs were friendly, informative, and took their time to do things right. We are very happy with the work. It is great to have a family owned company so close at hand and with such amazing service.
Al was very professional and nice. We had two plugs installed and some wall grommets. Thanks to him I was able to finish the installation of my tv on my wall. The price was very reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone.
10+⭐️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND Casey Electric if your in the Crestview area and are looking for a home generator to purchase and be installed. Did we look at the 'big box stores? Yes, we did. Their offers were defiantly tempting to not go with them... HOWEVER...we did chose them many years ago with the same product for our in laws and were left out in the cold when it never worked properly (and still doesn't- I will have Casey Electric take a look at it soon).
Casey Electric is a local owned & operated by the family who also happen to be veterans. A no-brainer for us as we are a military family as well (we still did our regular 'vetting' and our research as I suggest everyone does prior to any major expense/investment such as ours 🙂).
Professional from start to finish! No clue why we hadn't heard of them before! Price was fair and honestly not as shocking as expected. They had financing options and payment plans that suited us very well. We wernt pressured to purchase anything we didnt need. We wernt 'upgraded' to anything more than we needed. We were given time to thing it over.
As we were just coming out of Covid frustration (about March 2022) when we started this process of wanting a generator, there was a 8-12 month wait list due to parts and bodies not being available (but this was everywhere and not due to Casey E). Could the big box stores got me my generator faster?? Yes. Then they would have had a sub-contractor install it... someone from god knows where. Just like what happened to my in-laws.
We went on the list and had a tentative installation date of mid/late April- early/mid May 2023.
16 May 2023 came and Casey E called (sorry I'm horrible remembering names) to say they were around the corner with my generator - a day earlier than expected - OUTSTANDING (in a world full of non-working ppl now a days in our opinion) I opened the door to reveal my fabulous installation team of 3, trailer in tow with my Generac 24k on it, already busily unloading items and the power company! OHRAH! (Thats for my installer guy- he's Navy and we're Marine's 😝)
These guys worked like well oiled machines! My power was cut they completed their task (everything on the outside of the house). Within about 4hrs and my power was back on (thank you CHELCO for being so quick in returning). It was hot and humid that day. I felt so bad they were out there in the heat.I kept going out there to make sure they were still standing and to offer water (but they had brought their own).
The following day they came back to do the 2nd part of the install (inside the house). No power needed to be cut that day. We then waited to be inspected by the county before we could turn it on and make sure the Generac was working properly. That was the following Wednesday.
After all was done, I didn't have to do ANYTHING. Casey Electric submitted all paperwork to Generac for warranty, any and all information was given to me or emailed to me. I've NEVER had a more pleasant, stressless experience (spending this much money 😉). DEFINITELY have our business from here on out!
Major road rage from the worker driving this van. Tried to chase me down 331 and flipped me off. Completely unprofessional behavior. Where do y’all find your workers?
