Casey was very professional and knowledgeable. First rate experience. Very careful not to damage anything. Great job at incorporating new system into the yard. I highly recommend Blackwater Septic.

Our school was in an emergency need for a grease trap cleaning. Called Blackwater and got the following: immediate response, professional and courteous help, quick service, friendly service man. In short, great service all the way around.

If you’re looking for a company that takes thousands of dollars from you for services and a maintenance agreement then doesn’t deliver on the contract or respond to emails, calls, and texts… Blackwater Septic Services is the company for you.

They seemed decent at first… my neighborhood signed a 2 year maintenance agreement and they are supposed to come out twice per year (June and December they said). We had a storm right before the First December (2024) on the contract and had some concerns so reached out in October to see if they could come out a bit early to check things out. After waiting for a response for months, they finally responded in late January (2025) and said they've been backed up and never came in December but would come out soon. Not sure if they ever did. Then over the summer, the system seemed to be acting funny so we tried to reach out to them again… no response after countless phone calls, emails, and texts. I don’t think they ever came in June or December and are now definitely having issues with our system. We’re still working through things but I wouldn’t be surprised if the issue is something we could’ve gotten ahead of had they actually fulfilled the maintenance contract. Their gross negligence and disregard for paying customers is completely unacceptable. Who knows what kind of damage has been done. Look elsewhere for septic services. We certainly will be.

UPDATE (Re: the Company’s response):
1. I’m the person that signed the contract with them and cut them the check so not sure what they’re talking about with multiple people. When a customer who has paid in full for a maintenance agreement tries numerous times to contact the company with concerns about the system, they should respond. Simple as that.

2. The “saving money” comment is laughable. We already paid them in full for a maintenance contract that requires they inspect the system 2 times per year. As far as we know, they’ve been out once in almost 2 years and it was when we signed with them - which leads me to my last point…

3. Given their lack of responsiveness, I’ve requested (multiple times) that they provide reports from their visits to date so we can confirm they actually came out and also to understand how the system is functioning, however, they have repeatedly ignored my requests. Per our maintenance agreement, the visits and reports are their contractual obligations.

These guys are more full of it than our septic tank. Buyers beware.

Had a backup in the house and initially called a plumber (of course it was a Sunday). After determining it was a drain field issue we called Blackwater. They came out and did a pump out and gave us an estimate. For 2024 the price was fair so we scheduled a perc test, got the permits and 3 weeks later we’re back online. Staff was professional from office staff to crew that did the install. Highly recommend Blackwater Septic to anyone who has septic needs.

I was having problems with my Septic system. Called Blackwater, and Casey came out, when promised, and promptly went to work.He found my problem, and took care of everything. His price was reasonable, and I would recommend him to everyone.
