The system I had installed was engineered slightly short of the required power needs for our home due to the fact I wasn't able to provide 12 months’ worth of electric usage to their engineers for design purposes. When I approached Better Earth Solar to re-engineer the system, after several months they finally responded back indicating I would need 3 more panels. I was satisfied with that response, however, was told they couldn't do less than 8 panels, possibly 6 and I'd more than likely need a second inverter, and I’d have to purchase the panels. Since they said they couldn't make any changes to the original installation I spoke directly with the Customer Success Director/Manager and asked if I were able to get Light Reach the leasing company to agree to allow the contract to be modified to add three more panels would they agree to add those panels. I was told yes and after several weeks of coordination with Light Reach was notified that while they could not do a contract modification they were allowing the installer the option to proceed with the installation of the additional panels to help with my production needs and Light Reach would get in touch with the installer so they could provide me with financing and next steps. My attempts to reach the COO, Patrick Butler, had been somewhat challenging, however on a positive note, he did reach out to me and we have come to an agreement that will allow me to add 4 more panels to my system. While there were some challenges in getting this all aranged, Bettert Earth Solar will work with you to ensure you are satisfied with their service.
