After purchasing the wrong light bulbs at 2 other Ace Hardware Stores around Jax Beach/Ponte Vedra, and the Beachwalk Lowes store as well, I finally was able to get the best customer service from tall Mike at Cronin Ace Hardware on Highway 1. He took the time to investigate what I truly needed and my street light is fixed. Cant recommend Mike to help enough. Customer service these days comes at a premium, but Mike delivers with a smile. If you want the right product the first time, dont waste your time or money going anywhere else.

I came to this location as Kyle from a different store called ahead to make sure a specific item was here. Sure enough it was sitting behind the front desk counter when I wallked in. Billy helped me register the item at a kiosk for the warranty. I did not walk the entire store as what I needed was up front waiting for me. All in all Ace has a great team of people, just as clean & organised as I figured it would be.

Medium sized Ace Hardware. Well maintained and well stocked. Staff was attentive. Large outside yard and garden area. Only reason for 4 stars is that Ace’s prices are consistently higher than the big box stores. You really only go to Ace for convenience.

Absolutely do not use this location of Ace. The staff is less than accommodating. I wanted to select a gallon of Magnolia Home paint as we use this in our home and they wanted me to leave my wallet, keys and everything else with them. Ludicrous. Are they going to reimburse for fraudulent charges? It seems that Sherwin Williams will be my new paint store and I will never patronize them again. If you can't do business the right way, you shouldn't be in business.

These guys provide a great neighborhood hardware store. I live in Walden Chase not too far behind this location and every time I go into the store everyone is very helpful and they have a surprisingly large inventory for a smaller store.
Location is fantastic prices are moderate however not the cheapest. If you want to drive 10 miles more... You may save a dollar on the item but spend $2 gas and $10 of your time driving there. Sometimes it makes a lot more sense to shop local.
Glad to recommend these guys as a excellent business who take care of the neighborhood people with class. Thanks everyone appreciate you. 👍👍👍
